Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 7S and 7S Plus Launch Date Speculated as September 6

Samsung will be holding its Unpacked 2017 event on Aug. 23. Even though the company has not confirmed it directly, the South Korean media has claimed that the Galaxy Note 8 will be debuting on the said date.  LG’s unveil event on Aug. 31 will probably unleash the LG V30 flagship. Fresh speculations hint that Apple will be holding a launch event on Sept. 6 to debut the next generation iPhones that are speculated as iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus and iPhone 8.
The names of the upcoming iPhones have not been officially declared, but the rumor mill have been claiming that the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus would be debuting as successor versions of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus phones from the previous year. And the rumored iPhone 8 is speculated to arrive with high-end features like OLED panel enabled edge-to-edge screen, full-glass body, wireless charging and more.
Earlier rumors had claimed that the fingerprint scanner would be placed under the screen of the iPhone 8. However, newer leaks suggest that it may be placed on the backside or it may come integrated with the elongated Power button on the edge of the phone. iPhone 7S, 7S Plus, iPhone 8 Launch Date and Pricing

Since 2014, Apple has been announcing its iPhones on the Tuesday or Wednesday of the second week of September and it has been releasing the iPhones on the Friday of the third week or fourth week of the same month.

  • iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus from 2014 – Launched on Tuesday, Sept. 9; Released on Friday, Sept. 19
  • iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus from 2015 – Launched on Wednesday, Sept. 9; Released on Friday, Sept. 25
  • iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus from 2016 – Launched on Wednesday, Sept. 7; Released on Friday, Sept. 16

By considering the previous release patterns, it can be guessed that the next-generation iPhones may either debut on Sept. 5 or 6 and these iPhones will be released on Sept. 15 or 22. Rumors hint that even though the iPhone 8 will be debuting alongside the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus, it may not release on Sept. 15 or 22 as it is speculated to release later.
Rumors hint that the 64 GB iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus and iPhone 8 would be respectively priced at $649, $789 and $1,099. And, the 256 GB models of these iPhones are speculated to cost $749, $869 and $1,199.
Last year’s iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone SE are pegged to be available with reduced pricing after the debut of the upcoming iPhones. The speculated revised pricing of the 32 GB iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone SE are $549, $669 and $399. Their 128 GB variants are speculated to carry discounted price tags of $649, $769 and $499, respectively. To say again, the above pricings are nothing but speculations.
